Voice
Voice is a talent quest run by the Atomic Events Centre. Voice is held in the stunning Hawke's Bay Opera House and is a celebration of youth using their God given talents in the performing arts.
Everyone auditioning in the competition will have the chance of being recalled to perform at the night concert. Voice is an event for you or your whole youth group; in fact Voice is an event for everyone! The people on stage are also the people sitting right next to you. It's not about the excellent star performers - it's about striving for the excellence in each one of us.
We welcome any performers or artists and it doesn't matter if you are into the ‘God stuff' or not. Voice is a place for people to explore their creative side and to provoke risk-taking along with excellence. Yeah - we do come from the Christian side of life but don't let that put you off getting involved if you don't entirely share that same perspective. Your experience of life, and your views about truth and faith are valued. We do want people to think more deeply about the arts, life, and faith and truth issues so - if that's you - your performance will be judged on that basis.
Invite all of your family and friends to come watch you perform on a professional stage with lighting and the works! They won't want to miss it!
