A Youth Worker's key role is to work alongside young people to facilitate their personal, social, spiritual and educational development.
Youth Work is about enabling young people to have a voice, influence and place in society during the crucial transition period from dependence to independence.
Our Youth Work programmes will provide you with a broader insight into youth development as well as placement in one of two top youth organizations in Hawke's Bay.
Our goal is to make this the best and most challenging year of your life. What's more, completing this qualification will help you to move from voluntary to paid employment in the field.
